ABOUT US

I was chatting with a friend on the phone and mentioned all the wild cats in my area. She told me about TNR but unfortunately, there was no program like that in the area. She joked we should start one. I thought she was crazy (maybe she is, just a little) but here we are, 2 years later (it's 2013) and more than 300 cats have gone through our TNR program. Linda is an amazing woman who has a true heart of gold when it comes to helping animals. A dog lover herself, converted crazy cat woman, has worked diligently and relentlessly with the city, local pet organizations, and the community to create a very successful TNR program within St. Thomas. I'm Jen, a doubter that was converted to advocate and I wouldn't have it any other way. We have many people working with us to continue helping the cats and we would like to thank all the organizations, businesses, and the St. Thomas community for their understanding and great contributions!

Charity Cat (STDOA) works within the St. Thomas, Ontario area. We work with local organizations to bring TNR to your local feral cat population. We are quiet, discreet, professional, and do what is best for everyone involved, human and cat.

If you would like to contact us for more information, drop us a line through our Contact page.

How does Charity Cat (STDOA) help?

We at Charity Cat (STDOA) believe in Trap, Neuter, Vaccinate, Return/Release. But we need YOUR help! The cost of vet bills and food are completely provided by donations only. We are a non-profit organization and as such, have no government support. Charity Cat (STDOA)also build winter habitats to put out within free-roaming cat communities. This gives the cats shelter to survive the winter months, and stop from freezing to death due to our cold Canadian winters. Charity Cat (STDOA) adopts out kittens/cats that can be domesticated. Taking the time to foster them and give proper socialization so the ones that can be domesticated are helped.

Please donate for Kitty Condo building supplies, food and vet care. You are saving a life!
